Preferred Power Line Routes — Feedback Form

We’re building several new power lines in the Regina area. These new lines will strengthen the southern power grid and improve power reliability in the area.

Your input is an important part of our project and will be considered as we finalize the preferred line routes and move forward with the project. That’s why we want to know:

  • what you think about the power line route options
  • how the project may impact you, your operations and your community
  • any concerns and questions you may have
  • suggestions for how we could accommodate your concerns and reduce impacts
  • general knowledge of the project area, including environment and heritage resources

Preferred Power Line Routes — Map

Please review the preferred routes for each of the 3 new power lines below and share your input with us by completing the questions in our feedback form.

The map shows the following 3 power line routes:

  1. Peebles to Rowatt – 130 kilometres (km)
We’ll build a new power line connecting the Rowatt Switching Station to the Peebles Switching Station near Kipling.

  2. Rowatt to Fleet – 12 km
We’ll build a new power line connecting Rowatt to the Fleet Street Switching Station in east Regina.

  3. Poplar River to Condie Sectionalization – 24 km
We’re splitting an existing power line that runs from Poplar River Switching Station to the Condie Switching Station northwest of Regina. We’ll split the line southwest of Regina and build a new 25 km line that’ll connect to the Rowatt Switching Station.
