Join our team of dedicated experts as they talk about Saskatchewan’s power future. These discussions will help inform SaskPower’s overall priorities when drafting the long-term supply plan.

Essentials Workshops - Online or In-Person

  • Nov. 9, 5:30 – 7:30 pm, In-person in Swift Current
  • Nov. 16, 5:30 – 7:30 pm, In-person in Yorkton
  • Nov. 21, 5:30 – 7:30 pm, In-person in Saskatoon
  • Nov. 22, 2 – 4 pm, In-person in Saskatoon
  • Nov. 23, 5:30 – 7:30 pm, In-person in Prince Albert
  • Nov. 29, 5:30 – 7:30 pm, In-person in Regina
  • Nov. 30, 1:30 – 3:30 pm, In-person in Regina
  • Dec. 5, 9 – 11 am, online
  • Dec. 6, 9 – 11 am, online
  • Dec. 7, 11:30 – 1:30 pm, online

Workshops will include:

  • Introduction to a series of scenarios that define possible pathways to net zero.
  • Information on the most asked questions regarding cost, environmental impact and system stability.
  • Participants will be invited to ask questions and provide their feedback on scenario strengths and possible areas of improvement.
  • Participants will have a chance to win a $100 VISA gift card at the end of each workshop.

This workshop is part of Stage 3 of our Future Supply Plan - 2030 and Beyond engagement process. Summaries of previous stages can be found here.

What to Expect

  • Workshops are scheduled for 2 hours and hold up to 50 participants.
  • All Saskatchewan residents are invited to participate.
  • To allow us to hear from as many people as possible, attendance for this series of workshops is limited to one session per person.
  • All online workshops will take place using the Zoom platform. You’ll need a desktop or laptop computer with a webcam and microphone so you can participate in small breakout group discussions.
  • Please email us in advance if you have any accessibility accommodation requests.
