Power Supply Planning, 2030 and Beyond
- On our way to a net zero power system, we have some important choices to make. Join this informative session with SaskPower's planning team to learn about available power supply options, the realities of power generation in Saskatchewan and how our customers will play a role in developing our Power Supply Plan for 2030 and beyond.

Project Siting Criteria
- We'll consider several factors to determine a suitable location for a nuclear power facility. Learn more about why we’re looking at the Elbow and Estevan study areas and what is next for identifying potential sites.

Water Valuation
- We’ve had lots of questions about how a nuclear power facility could impact water bodies in the study areas. This session will describe the work we’re doing to understand these potential effects and will give you an opportunity to provide input on how you use and value water in each study area.

Indigenous Perspectives
- A big energy transition doesn’t happen in isolation. Former Curve Lake Chief, Emily Whetung, shared in the afternoon session how her perspective on nuclear power has grown and shifted from one of suspicion to support.
- In the evening session we heard from Tracy Primeau. Tracy is one of the few women to become a CNSC licensed operator at Bruce Power and is a proud member of the Nipissing First Nation.

Meet our Regulators
- The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission is respected around the world. It regulates the use of nuclear energy and materials in Canada to protect the health, safety, security and the environment. One of its mandates is to also share objective scientific, technical and regulatory information with the public.
