Join in on the education and exploration of future power supply planning with a Discovery kit. Include family, friends, coworkers, or students and enjoy the freedom to learn and engage with Saskatchewan’s power future on your own terms.

Feedback forms received by Dec. 15 will be entered into a draw to win a $250 VISA gift card.

What to expect

Participants will be introduced to a series of scenarios that define possible pathways to net zero using a mix of educational info sheets of each scenario, discussion questions, and feedback forms.

On review of each scenario, participants will be invited to provide their feedback on scenario strengths and possible areas of improvement. Feedback from this activity will help inform SaskPower’s overall priorities when drafting the long-term supply plan.

Details

  • Orders are now closed.
  • Discovery kits will be mailed out the week of Nov. 15.
  • Each kit will include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for participants to send their feedback to SaskPower’s Supply Planning team.
  • Feedback forms are due back to SaskPower by Dec. 15 to be entered into a draw for a $250 VISA gift card. Terms and conditions apply.

The Contest Rules have been updated effective November 28, 2023, with the following changes:

  • The date by which SaskPower will mail out Discovery Kits has been extended to December 5, 2023;
  • The date by which completed Discovery Kits must be returned by mail or email and received by the Contest Sponsor has been extended to 4:00 PM CST on December 22, 2023; and
  • The draw has been extended to December 23, 2023.

The Contest Rules have been updated effective November 17, 2023, with the following changes:

  • The number of available Discovery Kits has been increased from 250 to 550;
  • The dates by which SaskPower will mail out Discovery Kits has been extended to the week of November 20-24, 2023; and
  • Completed Discovery Kits may now be returned to SaskPower by email (in addition to by mail).

Note that the increase in the number of available Discovery Kits impacts the odds of winning a Prize.
